Presenting Bayer 360˚ Vector Control at MSPTM 2015




Bayer Co. (M) Sdn Bhd, represented by the Environmental Science division, was one of the life sciences companies present at the 51st Annual Scientific Conference of the Malaysian Society of Parasitology and Tropical Medicine held recently from 3-4 March 2015 at the Grand Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

In line with the theme - “Tropical Diseases in Malaysia: Innovative Approaches for Emerging Issue”.

The conference was attended by more than 160 participants from all around the world. They took part in a wide-range of medical-related symposiums hosted by representatives from international government bodies, the private sector, universities, and medical research institutions. There were a total of 12 sessions presentations, including vector control, Malaria, emerging parasitic diseases, neglected tropical diseases, Dengue etc. and 3 plenary meetings, as well as 52 poster presentations during the 2 day congress.

The team from Environmental Science took the opportunity to share with conference attendees more information about 360° Vector Control and new solutions from Bayer to combat the recent dengue outbreak in Malaysia; designed to help the community and improve their quality of life in keeping with our mission statement “Bayer: Science For A Better Life”.
